    The DNRC uses a Request for Proposal (RFP) process for issuing new commercial leases. The RFP document provides details for the property, including minimum fee calculations such as lease term, market adjustment frequency, and annual fee adjustments. it also establishes the format and content expectations for any proposal submitted for the lease. A proponent is responsible for submitting a formal proposal that meets the specifications provided in the RFP document on or before the closing date.

    Properties that are in a "Now Accepting Proposals" status have an active RFP document and a closing date. If you are interested in a listing that is not "Now Accepting Proposals", please call or email the DNRC contact provided on the listing.     Moraine Parcel, Kalispell, MT

    Deadline to Submit Proposals: 4:00 PM, June 24, 2025

    Accepting proposals to lease/develop a 25.0 +/- acre parcel identified as Moraine, located in a portion of the SW1/4 of Section 36, Township 29 North, Range 22 West, within the city limits of Kalispell, in Flathead County, Montana.

    The property is located within the Spring Prairie Planned Unit Development (PUD) located on State Trust Land in Kalispell, Montana. Parcel is southwest of the Spring Prairie Center, a large commercial shopping development in north Kalispell.

    The subject parcel is zoned Spring Prairie PUD (Planned Unit Development)/R-4 – Residential PUD. Use and development of Section 36 is guided by an adopted neighborhood plan that has been integrated into the Kalispell Growth Policy.
