Vendor Information

The DNRC solicits fire contracts for aviation through the Montana State Dept. of Administration State Procurement Bureau's electronic Montana Acquisition and Contracting System (eMACS). Aircraft vendors interested in doing business with the State must complete their registration to receive electronic notifications of upcoming bid opportunities. There is no fee for registration. Vendors may register at: https://spb.mt.gov/Vendor-Resources/index . The DNRC has phased out CWN aircraft agreements due to low usage, and will now focus on exclusive use contracts instead. 

Contracting for portable toilets and handwash stations, type 2 IA crews,  off-road rental vehicles, and kitchens/catering is managed internally through an informal process. Contact Karen Zarbolias, (406)542-4306, dnrcfirecontracting@mt.gov for more information.

Beginning in 2025, the DNRC will be contracting with Type 3 Kitchen/Caterers.
