North Hills Controlled Ground Water Area
Lewis and Clark County - Reinstated
The North Hills CGWA was reinstated on April 12, 2007.
The North Hills CGWA includes the following land descriptions:
Township 11 North, Range 3 West, Sections 1-19Township 11 North, Range 4 West, Sections 1-3, E 1/2 of 4, E 1/2 of 9, 10-15, 22-24
Township 12 North, Range 3 West, Sections 26-35
Township 12 North, Range 4 West, Sections 21-23, 25-28, E 1/2 of 33, 34-36
For small wells (35 gpm or less, up to 10 af), the well owner must file a Form 602-NHCGW, Notice of Completion of Groundwater Development, North Hills Temporary Controlled Groundwater Area (NHCGWA) within 60 days after the water has been put to beneficial use.
