* The fee for an irrigation water right or irrigation claim that is part of an irrigation district, ditch company, canal company, irrigation project, water user's association, or other organized group allocating irrigation water is $20 a user, with the fee capped at 40 users. The fee to a group user will be capped at 40 users or $800 and must be split equally among the users. The group will receive the water adjudication bill and will be responsible for billing and collecting payment from its users.
FEE EXAMPLE: A claimant with 15 mining water rights claims@ 0-1000 acre-feet, 25 mining water rights claims @>1000-4000 acre-feet and 2 mining water rights claims @>4000 acre-feet would pay a total of $24,300.
15 water rights x $20=$300
25 water rights will be capped at 20 water rights :
20 water rights x $1000 =$20,000
2 water rights x $2000=$4000
TOTAL for all mining water rights claims in the example=$24,300
