Wildfire information - like wildland firefighting - is a partnership involving state, federal and local agencies and organizations. This page contains a selection of websites that provide the most accurate, up-to-date information on wildfire potential, fire restrictions, weather forecasts, specific incidents and other important information.

Inciweb: Lists all major wildfires in the US, with information on size, location, responding agencies, public safety alerts, daily updates, and more. Once a fire is fully contained, updates cease and the incident will be identified as "inactive."
Wildweb: Lists every wildfire reported to a dispatch center in Montana. You must know the general location of the fire.

Some of the best pages include: Outlooks: Under the "Fire Potential" header, the "NR daily outlook" and "NR 7-day fire potential" provide clear and concise analysis of anticipated fire activity.
