Growth Awards
The Tree City USA Growth Award is provided by The National
Arbor Day Foundation in cooperation with the National Association
of State Foresters and the USDA Forest Service, to recognize environmental
improvement and encourage higher levels of tree care throughout
America. This award recognizes achievement and communicates new ideas
and helps leaders of all Tree City USA communities to plan for
improving community tree care. Last year, 523 Tree Cities across the
United States earned the Growth Award by completing activities
to strengthen their local tree care programs.
