Arbor Day grants are available to cities, towns, counties and other not for profit organizations. Activities may include tree planting, event planning and/or related supplies.
- Grant Amount: $300 for all communities, $1,000 for Tree City USA designees

Program Development Grants
Program Development Grants are available to Montana cities, towns, counties, and tribal governments interested in conducting an urban tree/vegetation inventory; writing an urban forest management plan based upon a tree inventory and/or writing a city/county approved tree ordinance.
Grant Amount: $1,000 - $25,000 maximum grant request range

Tree City USA Grant Program
Tree City USA grants are available to cities or towns in Montana that are newly designated Tree City USA communities.
Grant applications are available to new Tree City USA communities after their application has been approved by the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation and the National Arbor Day Foundation.
