Responses to Comments Received on the Final EIS/HCP

Responses to comments are now available for public review. Below is the final list of commenters. Each letter is numbered to facilitate finding the comments and responses in the document. Supplemental responses to issues pertaining to grizzly bear core, riparian buffers, and road densities are also included.

Comments Received on the Final EIS/HCP

During the Final EIS/HCP review period, 37 unique comment letters were received.  The comment letters received are available below, along with lists of individuals, businesses, agencies and organizations who submitted comments.  Three of the 37 unique letters were form letters.  We received 177 submissions of the Defenders of Wildlife inspired form letter and 256 submissions of the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) inspired form letter. Additionally, 67 individuals submitted letters expressing concerns over the same issues raised by Montana Environmental Information Center (MEIC).
